AN OBSCURE FISH SIGHTED IN JAPAN BY

TRAWLERS

Pleasant commercial fishing was interrupted several months ago when local Nemuro fisherman reported strange creatures seen swimming near the northern tip of Hokkaido Island off Japan. HOKKAIDO| A fish trawler from a small town near a port city in Japan discovered a strange creature in his fishing net while fishing. Hokkaido - An elder fish trawler, Eji Akihiro, a 74-year-old man several miles east off the port city of Nemuro, fishing. He thrust his net into the river to catch some fishes as his daily activities, but he discovered a fifty meter long snake like creature breathing among the fishes. Akihiro thought the creeping monster must be from the whale because it had luminous eyes found on the dorsal surface of its head which was believed to live deep within the lowest portions of the ocean floor. The Japanese marine officials were informed about the monster for investigation. "I felt the heaviness of the net. All my thought was that I have caught different species of fish. But to my surprise, I found a creeping monster among the fishes. At first, I was scared of seeing its glowing eyes. Then I thought it might be from the whale because I have never seen such a thing for the past fourteen years I have been fishing here," Eji Akihiro said. A few months back, it has been reported by some of the fish trawlers that several more animals of the same description were seen far away in the middle of the fishing armada but which the authorities speedily discharged the possibilities. "We are not surprised Mr. Akihiro saw that monster. I and some other fish trawlers saw two monsters in the middle of the sea shallows some months ago. We informed the coast guard but we were told that there has been no existence of a dinosaur off Japan, but just a superstition. After so much persuasion, we were told to provide them with evidence," Mr. Akinari, a fish trawler added. After several close sightings and panicked reports by fisherman near Nemuro, the Japanese Coast Guard, in conjunction with United States Naval assistance, begin searching the entire sighting locations for unusual activity. Coast Guard Sea Rescue and surface patrols keep the area on high alert in case boats are either swamped or attacked by the strange monster fish. Furthermore, the marine officials had their investigations about the creeping creature seen by the fisherman and they believed that it is a rare, prehistoric eel like frilled shark by the name of (Chlamydoselachus anguineus) in gigantic proportions. Professor Banri Hatsuo and team of biologists from the Faculty of Oceanographic Science at the Hokkaido University have been informed to investigate this strange creature, which they explained was similar to a specimen of the frilled shark caught off the coast of Australia, the prehistoric Chlamydoselachus family. Its lineage is thought to date back to the Late Cretaceous period, 95 million years ago. However, the marine officials admit that it is unusual to understand how the species found its way to Hokkaido in Japan, although a few of the two meter animals have been caught by Japanese fishing ships. 'However, "Professor Hatsuo reported, "while this specimen resembled a frill shark in form, the actual size (fifty meters) far more hints to ancient fossils found in the North China Craton in the Korean Peninsula off Gunsan, near the Yellow Sea. It reminds me of a legendary creature that was mentioned in the ‘A Commentary on the Book of Gates’ by Jebidiah Smith in 1868. Is it possible that some fancies do indeed have some basis in hard archaeology?" An eye witness has also reported seeing some strange creatures for almost two-three weeks at the Akkeshi port city, just southwest of Nemuro while having a vacation with her fiancé. Eji Akihiro (photo) a multi generational fisherman from the port city of Nemuro has fished these waters with his father and grandfather for over 100 years. While Mr. Akihiro said he has seen many strange animals come from the sea in his nets, never before has he seen such an animal. (Insert) The description of the creature from eyewitness reports, the M'gartha. "My fiance and I decided to have a nice time together, so we chose Akkeshi. Throughout the 8 weeks, we spent there, we saw some strange creatures every night. Some look like giant snakes, which were showing aggressive behavior. My fiancé was nearly attacked by one of the creatures, so we ran from the beach that minute," Akari, a 28-year-old woman reported. The marine officials admit that the marine operators had received frequent calls from almost all the region reporting about the creatures, which was linked to the event before the moment. United States Coast Guard armed patrol boat providing support for the investigation. "Truly, the marine operators received different calls frequently from almost all the regions about some creatures sighted at some coastal ports in the country before this incidence," Marine Officer Fuyuki Gaku said. The marine operators and scientists pleaded to the citizens of the communities to never relent with their often calls to the marine operators and scientists which are determined to come to the rescue of the people of the areas and also implored the public to quickly report any strange activities that could also prove helpful in solving the strange case that has been going on the environment.
